4th Wall Theatre Company, continuing to set high standards for extraordinary performances in Houston, begins its 13th season with the modern romantic classic, THE PAVILION by award-winning theatre and TV writer Craig Wright and directed by Christy Watkins (Miss Maude, Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, Disgraced).
The Tony Award-winning Alley Theatre has announced the cast and creative team of Isaac Gómez’s world premiere What-A-Christmas! The play is directed by KJ Sanchez (Quixote Nuevo) and runs December 2 – December 24, 2022 in the Neuhaus Theatre.
The fascinating aspects of the Houston theatre are almost too numerous to count. Now, we get to witness Joe P.’s exquisite poetry along with his peers in Disturbing the Peace.
4th Wall finishes its amazing season with a remounting of their critically acclaimed production of Stepehn Adly Guirgis’ Between Riverside and Crazy. A dramedy of epic proportions, 4th Wall continues producing some of the most brilliant plays, raw and up close.
4th Wall Theatre Company has announced its return to in-person theatre for the 2021-2022 season. This landmark season is completely comprised of Houston Premiere productions and features four of the most exciting plays 4th Wall has ever assembled.

Audiences who loved 4th Wall's 2018 production of Guirgis's a?oeJesus Hopped the 'A' Traina?? will be thrilled to see another of his works, one that the 2015 Pulitzer Prize committee called a?oea nuanced, beautifully written play that uses dark comedy to confront questions of life and death.a?? A new American classic, this play follows a retired NYC cop fighting down forces much larger than himself from within a collapsing, rent-controlled apartment. Swirling around him are a host of larger-than-life characters sure to captivate audiences.
4th Wall Theatre Company announces its 2019-2020 Season. For 4th Wall's Ninth Season, Co-Artistic Directors Kim Tobin-Lehl and Philip Lehl are sharing a season of American classics and electrifying Houston premieres. "It's a season that explores family, racism, illness, lost love, and ultimately what it means to live and die in America," says Tobin-Lehl. "We're filling the season with the exciting storytelling, nonpareil acting, and excellent direction and design audiences have come to expect at Studio 101."
