JERSEY BOYS Star Michael Ingersoll Brings New Series To Delray Beach

The Delray Beach Playhouse has definitely stepped out of its community theatre comfort zone this season! An innovative, new partnership with Michael Ingersoll's ARTISTS LOUNGE LIVE is a FIRST in South Florida.

ARTISTS LOUNGE LIVE is a dynamic concert series, curated by producer/performer Michael Ingersoll and featuring popular music of yesterday performed by tremendous talent of today. Rising stars of stage and screen shine in heartfelt evenings of story and song celebrating the icons who performed and recorded the music. These artists not only embrace the music catalogs, they're able to transport the audience to a different time, giving them a glimpse into what was happening in the icon's life when they were making the music.

Michael Ingersoll won acclaim portraying Nick Massi of the Four Seasons in the Tony Award-winning smash hit JERSEY BOYS. He originated the role for the first National Tour playing to sold-out crowds in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Chicago for over 1300 performances.

After hanging up the signature red jacket, he donned a sharkskin suit as a founding member of PBS retro-rock sensation Under the Streetlamp. He toured both nationally and internationally with the quartet, on the success of their multiple PBS concert specials which aired in over 100 million homes nationwide. In addition to co-producing Streetlamp's multiple PBS specials, Ingersoll served as Executive Producer for Artists Lounge Live's first television concert special, Get Happy: Angela Ingersoll sings Judy Garland, which earned two Emmy Award nominations.

Other television credits include appearances on Access Hollywood, Extra! (Streetlamp); The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tonight Show, PBS' Capitol Fourth, The Primetime Emmy Awards (Jersey Boys); The Beast, and Chicago Fire. Other theatre credits include Award Nominations for leading roles in Of Mice and Men, Floyd Collins, Bat Boy: The Musical, and tick, tick...BOOM!.

Ingersoll also appeared in the fim, Walk the Line and his recordings include Under the Streetlamp, Rockin' Round the Clock, Let the Good Times Roll, Everyday's a Holiday(Streetlamp); and Seasons Greetings: A Jersey Boys Christmas. Concerts include Try a Little Tenderness and Happy Together: Michael and Angela Ingersoll Sing Songs You Know By Heart.
