Seeking
Male & Female local, principal actors of all ages & ethnicities for Theatricum's 2014 (Outdoor Theatre) Summer Repertory Season: Shakespeare’s King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, All's Well That Ends Well, Much Ado About Nothing, and one production TBA.

Preparation
One 2-3 minute Shakespearean monologue.

Breakdown

Summer Repertory Season: Shakespeare’s King Lear, A Midsummer Night's Dream, All's Well That Ends Well, Much Ado About Nothing, and one production to be announced. Also casting for Shakespeare's As You Like It with rehearsals starting in September for special performances in the Lancaster area.


A Midsummer Night's Dream begins rehearsals on 4/9 and King Lear begins rehearsals on 4/15; both perform weekday mornings throughout May, early June and again in early October. Weekend repertory performances run 6/7 thru 10/4. All's Well That Ends Well and Much Ado About Nothing rehearse evenings in June and July, and join the repertory performances through 9/28. Rehearsals on TBD production are yet to be determined. Rehearsals for As You Like It to begin 9/18 with special performance in the Lancaster Area October and November.


Seeking all roles, alternates and understudies, except roles of Lear, Edgar, and Edmund (strong understudies still needed).
Seeking women to play the roles of Lear, Edgar and Edmund and men to play the roles of Goneril, Regan and Cordelia.
Seeking African American, Latino, and other minority actors to play the upperclass in All’s Well That Ends Well. Seeking Caucasian actors to play the lowerclass in All’s Well That Ends Well.
