George: male, 48-65, an academic. Caught in a job that he thought would lead to great things, but hasn’t. A drinker to help that malady. He loves Martha very much.
Nick: male, 25-40, an ambitious young professor. Handsome, smart and knows it. Upwardly mobile.
Honey, 20-35, simple but clever. She wants to be the best wife ever but things haven’t necessarily turned out like she thought they would. A little needy and flighty.
*The role of MARTHA has been CAST*
