Please prepare a brief song in the style of the show (music from the show is acceptable); show vocal range. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Some may be asked to stay and move after singing.
Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
Seeking actors who sing and move well:
Tommy:
16-25. Young boy who descends into a catatonic state. Baritone/tenor.
Capt. Walker:
25-35. Tommy's handsome father, a
Royal Air Force captain. Baritone.
Mrs Walker:
18-30. Tommy's mother. Mezzo soprano.
Cousin Kevin:
15-20. Tommy's cousin. A bully. Tenor.
Uncle Ernie:
30-45. Tommy's drunk uncle. Baritone.
The Gypsy:
20-35. Drug dealer and prostitute. Alto.
Ensemble:
Characters include The Boyfriend, The Hawker, The Minister, The Minister's Wife, The Specialist, Sally Simpson and various Lads and Lasses.
