APPOINTMENTS

No advance appointment necessary. Actors seen on first-come, first-seen basis, with priority to Equity members.

CONTRACT

SPT AEA SPT Category 6, $493/week AEA and non-union contracts available. EMC points available for non-union actors.

SEEKING

Equity actors for a few roles in the upcoming season.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two contrasting contemporary monologues totaling no more than 3 minutes.
Please also bring picture and resume .

Synopsis
TOMMY AND ME recounts a seminal time in Ray Didinger’s life as he helps his life-long hero, Tommy McDonald reach his goal of getting into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

TOMMY MCDONALD [already cast]
Male, 60s. White. Retired pro football player. Must be shorter than 6’.

RAY DIDINGER [already cast]
Male, 40s-early 50s. White. Successful sportswriter.

YOUNG TOMMY [already cast]
Male, early 20s. White. Early career pro football player, blonde, athletic but small
(Tommy McDonald was 5’9”, 178 lbs.) Must be shorter than 6’.

YOUNG RAY [already cast]
Male, preteen. White. Precocious sports fan – he knows his stuff.

Synopsis
When a senseless act of violence changes her life forever, a liberal college professor finds herself inexplicably drawn to the very weapon used to perpetrate the crime – and to the irresistible feeling of power that comes from holding life and death in her hands. Peering down the barrel of a uniquely American crisis, she begins to suspect that when it comes to gun violence, we’re all part of the problem.

West. How far will we go when playing God?
