Seeking actors who sing extremely well. All listed roles are available:
Note: All children characters other than Liesl will be on non-Equity contracts. Auditions for those children’s roles will be held separately.
Captain Von Trapp: Man, 40-55. Rigid. Military officer.
Maria: 25-40. Naïve, spirited and musical. Soprano.
Max: 35-50. Good friend of the Captain. Worldly and suave. Baritone.
Elsa: 30-50. Sophisticated fiancée of the Captain. Mezzo.
Mother Abbess: Wise, mature counselor to Maria.
Rolf: 18-25. Courts the Captain’s oldest daughter. Tenor.
Liesl: 16-25. The Captains eldest daughter, innocent and curious. Soprano.
Ensemble: Housekeepers, Nuns, Military Officers.
