Breakdown

Seeking Equity actors:

Seeking: Versatile actors - performers in this piece must have the ability to play more than one character. Of utmost importance is a unique and willing personality, someone who thrives in a creative highly collaborative environment. These roles call for a high level of skill in modern/contemporary dance. The choreography is more athletic than classical.

JENNA/LINDSAY
Female, 22-45, any ethnicity. Must play two different characters at three different ages: Jenna (11 years old) and Lindsay (12 years old and flash forward to her at 46 years old). Jenna is a cynical world-weary girl, snarky to an extreme; Lindsay is a tomboy, a well-meaning but slightly dense character who is protective of her intellectually prodigious schoolyard pal.

SWING for all MALE ROLES
Male, 22-45, any ethnicity. Looking for strong actor/dancers. The choreography is modern/contemporary, more athletic than classical; one need not have a background in conventional dance training. Must be able to play multiple characters, should be particularly strong with humor.
Roles to cover include:
* Henry: Shy, modest, a little lonely. Not very street-smart.
* Principal Campbell: well-intentioned but bumbling, desperately interested in making a good impression.
* Nathan Ryerson: a venture capitalist, extremely successful. Self-assured, media-savvy.
* Marcus: a bully -- crude, a little slow but ultimately feckless.
* Hipólito: suave and sexually confident.
