BREAKDOWN

Equity encourages everyone participating in the auditions to wear a two-ply cloth face mask, surgical
mask, singer’s mask or respirator (N95, KN95 or KF94). Single-ply face masks, gaiters and bandanas
are not recommended. Singer’s masks can be found at

Equity encourages members to prepare for their audition prior to arriving at the audition venue, to the
extent that they can (e.g., get dressed, hair/make-up, etc.) to avoid crowding in bathrooms and
dressing rooms.

Holding/Audition room information:

The audition room can accommodate no more than 217 individuals at a time.

SEEKING:

DENNIS, an actor in the Cornley Polytechnic Society who plays PERKINS, the butler in “The Murder
at Haversham Manor.”

ROLES CAST:

ANNIE, company stage manager for the Cornley Polythechnic Drama Society. Earnestly goes about
her job backstage until is thrust into an acting role mid-performance. She goes from stilted by nerves
to wholeheartedly invested in her new role onstage. This role is precast.

TREVOR, company lighting and sound operator for the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society. May be
more interested in having fun and pulling pranks than going above and beyond to create a polished
production of “The Murder at Haversham Manor.” This role is precast.

CHRIS, the head of the Cornley Polythechnic Society, fancies himself an Artistic Director, and holds
himself a step above his castmates. Directed the play within the play “The Murder at Haversham
Manor” and plays the character INSPECTOR CARTER, an esteemed local inspector. This role is
precast.

JONATHAN, an actor in the Cornley Polythechnic Society who plays CHARLES HAVERSHAM in “The
Murder at Haversham Manor.” Charles is the murder victim in the “whodunnit” play but is later
revealed to be one of the conspirators. Physical comedy skills required. This role is precast.

ROBERT, an actor in the Cornley Polytechnic Society who plays THOMAS COLLEYMOORE, Charles’
old school friend in “The Murder at Haversham Manor.” Robert struggles earnestly with even the most
basic of acting tasks but takes his role very seriously. This role is precast.

MAX, an actor in the Cornley Polytechnic Society who plays both CECIL HAVERSHAM, Charles’
brother, and ARTHUR THE GARDENER in “The Murder at Haversham Manor. Cecil is having an affair
with Florence, played by Sandra. A young lover in the first act and a mystery within the whodunnit in
the second. This role is precast.

SANDRA, an actor in the Cornley Polytechnic Society who plays FLORENCE COLLEYMOORE in
“The Murder at Haversham Manor.” Florence is Charles’ fiancé and Thomas’ sister. Florence is having
an affair with Cecil (played by Max). Prone to fainting, this role requires physical comedy skills. This
role is precast.
