SPT(Tier 4) $392 week/minimum

SEEKING

Equity actor singers for various roles. There are 2 AEA contracts to be cast among the 4 available roles. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, even if you have sent one. Prepare a brief comedic (contemporary) monologue and a prepared song (16 bars, bring sheet music). Please email if you know you are coming.

OTHER DATES

Rehearsal schedule: March 9 thru April 1, 2020. Runs: April 2 thru April 26, 2020
Rehearsals: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 10am to 4pm, Sundays 4pm to 10pm
Performances: Thursdays, Fridays @ 7:30pm, Saturdays @ 7pm, Sundays @ 3pm
There are 2 Thursday Matinees: 4/ 9 and 4/16 @3pm. 1 Saturday Matinee: 4/11
No Easter Sunday (4/12) performance

Pursuant to the terms of a concession made to this employer's agreement, the employer has agreed that any Equity member who attends this audition will have an opportunity to be seen.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

BREAKDOWN

The following 4 parts will be considered for 2 principle AEA contracts:

Betty Jean: The practical joker of the group, Betty Jean struggles with her relationships with her boyfriend (18 years old in Act One) and husband (28 years old in Act Two).

Cindy Lou: (18-28) The flirt and catty girl of the group. She very much wants to win prom queen and believes the world revolves around her. Goes through a bit of a journey in Act Two.

Missy: (18-28) The bossy girl of the group, Missy likes to control things; but she is also a bit socially awkward and shy about her secret crush.

Suzy: (18-28) The happy-go-lucky one of the group, Suzy is positive but also a little on the ditzy side. She is continuously chewing bubble gum.
