Please prepare one song in the style of the show. Singing from the show is also encouraged, but not required.

Bring picture and resume.

In attendance…Ed Corsi (Producting Director/Casting Director), Ted Wioncek III (Artistic Director), Caitlin Geisser (Asssitant Director), Jason Neri (MD and Accompanist), Katie Shelly (Monitor)

OTHER

We rehearse for 3 weeks prior to opening. 6 nights per week, Monday through Friday and Sunday afternoons. Off every Saturday. Rehearsals are typically 6pm-10:30pm during the week, 3-10pm on Sundays. Times subject to change.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

DOGFIGHT

Runs November 15 through Dec 8, 2019. Rehearsals begin on Niovember 3rd, 2019 .

EDDIE BIRDLACE
A Marine, leader, hothead, cocky and smooth. Male 18-25 Vocal top A4, bottom A2.

ROSE FENNY:
A diner waitress who dreams of life as a musician. Shy, naïve, becomes smitten with Birdlace and discovers a lot about her self-respect and confidence along the way. Female, 18-21, Top E5, Bottom G3.

BERNSTEIN
Marine, Birdlace's good friend, nerdy and inexperienced. Male, 18-25 top B4, bottom B2.

BOLAND
Marine, Birdlace's closest friend. Poor southern cad, most vocal supporter of the dogfight and failry crude. 18-25, top B4, bottom B2.

MARCY
Boland's date for the dogfight. Nearly toothless and homely prostitute. Crass and brash. Doubles as Peggy, Female 25-35 top Eb5, bottom F#3.

MAMA
Owner of diner, Rose's mom, unamused by marine's antics. Female 40-50. Doubles as Fector's party date.

PETE/LOUNGE SINGER/SARGEANT/DRAG QUEEN/DINER PATRON/WAITER/BIG TONY, 30's-40's

RUTH TWO BEARS/LIBRARIAN/CHIPPY: 20's. STEVENS: Marine, cocky, early 20's.

FECTOR:
Marine, private, not too bright, early 20's

GIBBS:
Marine, midwestern, early 20's. Doubles as Steven's Party Date in drag.
