SEEKING
WaterTower Theatre invites AEA actors to audition for its production of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, which will take place in the 2019-2020 Season.
PREPARATION
Actors should come prepared with a 16-32 bar cut of music in the style of the show.
Actors must provide their own sheet music in the correct key.
Actors should bring their book in case the creative team would like to hear more.
Headshot and resume required.

Francesca- Italian woman, generous, luminous, and funny, now married to a farmer and living in Iowa. Age: 35 to 45
Richard Bud Johnson- Francesca's husband. An Iowa farmer, a good guy, diligent and dependable, but always exhausted and irritated that things haven't gotten easier. Age: 40 to 50
Robert Kincaid- A ruggedly handsome, worldly, visionary photographer. Age: 40 to 50
Marian- (also plays Chiara) Robert's former wife, a musician. Age: 35 to 45
Chiara- (also plays Marian) Francesca's sister still living in Italy. Age: 35 to 45
Michael- Francesca and Bud's son. Age: 16
Carolyn- Francesca and Bud's daughter. Age: 14
Marge- Francesca's neighbor, sassy and nosy. Age: 45 to 60 (Vocal range G3-C5)
Charlie- Marge's husband. Age: 60 to 70
