Breakdown

IT IS STRONGLY ADVISED TO READ THE SCRIPT BEFORE AUDITIONS.
It is the director's desire to cast this play as multi-culturally as possible. Actors of all ethnicities are strongly encouraged to read. To this end, the family need not resemble each other physically; each couple simply needs to be in the appropriate generational bracket, and then be able to inhabit the essence of the actor that their character previously had in an earlier generation.
This play will require actors to be able to maintain both a dual focus on their own scene partner, and an awareness of how their conversational track harmonizes and plays with the simultaneous conversation(s) going on

Characters: Four Pairs, spanning four generations:

Couple 1 - 1 male and 1 female, 50s-70s

Couple 2 - 1 male and 1 female, 30s-40s

Couple 3 - 1 male and 1 female, mid 20's

Couple 4 - 1 boy and 1 girl; both roughly appearing between 8-12
