BREAKDOWN

Xanadu Breakdown:

Danny Maguire (Zeus): A3 - C6 The hard-nosed all work and no play businessman who owns the theatre he once built for his love, Kira. Used to be a budding artist like Sonny, but has since let money and greed consume him.

Melpomene (Medusa): G3 - A5. Kira's oldest sister. Mother of the Sirens. She is jealous that Kira is the leader of the muses rather than herself, and therefore creates a plot for her downfall. Muse of tragedy.

The Producers Breakdown:

Max Bialystock: A2 - F#4. The consummate con man. Naturally animated and bombastic, he is never at a loss for charm and manners.Typically conspires with Leo.

Leo Bloom: A2 - F4. An accountant. Boring and mousy he is a hesitant optimist who longs for something more. Dragged into a scheme by Max.

Roger Debris: G2 - G4. New York's most famous and flamboyant stage director. Surrounds himself with deliciously beautiful clothing, people, and possessions. In a crowd, it would be impossible to miss him.

Moon Over Buffalo Breakdown:

George Hay: Very dramatic, a slap-stick type, over-the-top actor. Must be able to do strong physical comedy including: pratfalls, running, stage combat (rapier), etc.

Charlotte Hay: She helps to run the acting troupe and plays all the leads, even those for which she is a bit too old. Must be able to do British dialect (RP).

Richard: He is George and Charlotte's attorney, but he is in love with Charlotte - always trying to get her to leave George. He is wealthy and used to getting what he wants, and he is both amused and perplexed by the Hay family.
