Sides will be provided. If you have not been seen at Horizon or by the directors before,
please also be prepared with two contrasting contemporary monologues in case the
directors would like to see more of your work.

SWEET WATER TASTE: All hell and a little bit of heaven break loose when a prominent
southern black undertaker and former civil rights leader approaches his wealthy white
cousin and demands to be buried in ‘the family cemetery.’ Think Thomas Jefferson and Sally
Hemings in the Obama era.
An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
