CHILDREN WILL BE SEEN AT A LATER DATE AS NEEDED. THIS CALL IS FOR ACTORS AND SINGERS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER.

Please prepare 32 bars of a song OR a 2-minute monologue OR 16 bars of a song and a one-minute monologue. If singing, bring sheet music in the correct key; accompanist is provided (both days), but may not transpose.

Please bring a picture & resume, stapled back-to-back.

Notes: All roles are available. Callbacks will be held as needed. Rehearsals will be held during the day (10-5).

HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY (SPT tier 7) by Randal Myler and Mark Harelik.

1st reh: 8/13/13. Runs 8/29/13 - 9/15/13, Franklin Theatre

HANK WILLIAMS: early 20s to mid-30s, must play guitar

AUDREY WILLIAMS: Hank's first wife, later his professional widow, a blond Alabama beauty, sweet, exuberant, sure, singing role but she's not a good singer.

TEE-TOT: An Alabama street singer. African-American, any age.

THE WAITRESS: The keeper of an all-night diner somewhere in the south. Lonely, optimistic. The character is a representative of Hank Williams's audience. Any race, age 18-27.

MAMA LILLY: Hank's mother. Caucasian, age 40+.

HOSS: A member of Hank's band. Plays upright bass. Any age or race.

JIMMY (BURRHEAD): A member of Hank's band. Plays lead electric guitar. Any age or race.

LEON (LOUDMOUTH): A member of Hank's band. Plays fiddle. Any age or race.

SHAG: A member of Hank's band. Plays pedal steel guitar. Any age or race.

FRED ROSE (PAP): Founder and executive of a Nashville music publishing company. A Midwesterner. Caucasian, 40+.

CINDERELLA: (Female, 20-30 yrs old) A young, earnest maiden who is constantly mistreated by her stepmother and stepsisters. Range: G3 - G5

CINDERELLA'S MOTHER: (Female, 40-55 yrs old) Deceased with her soul guarding and aiding her daughter from a tree. Range: E4 - F4

CINDERELLA'S PRINCE: (Male, 30-40 yrs old) Vain and gorgeous, he is a disloyal lover who is currently searching for the next new, exciting thing. Range: B2 - F4

CINDERELLA'S STEPMOTHER: (Female, 40-50 yrs old) The mean-spirited, demanding stepmother of Cinderella. Range: A3 - F#5

FLORINDA and LUCINDA: (Female, 25-35 yrs old) Cinderella's stepsisters who are black of heart. They follow in their mother's footsteps of abusing Cinderella. Range: C4 - Ab5

GIANT: (Female, 40-60 yrs old) Voiceover. The Giant's wife is an angry and vengeful 'monster.' She is seeking restitution for her loss.

JACK: (Male, 20-30 yrs old) The feckless Giant killer who is 'almost a man.' He is adventurous, naive, energetic, and bright-eyed. Range: B2 - G4

JACK'S MOTHER: (Female, 50-65 yrs old) Browbeating and weary, Jack's protective mother who is independent, bold, and strong-willed. Range: Bb3 - Gb5

LITTLE RED RIDINGHOOD: (Female, 15-20 yrs old ) A spoiled young girl who is strong-willed, quick-wited, fearless, yet youthful and naive. Range: Bb3 - F5

MYSTERIOUS MAN: (Male, 50-65 yrs old) A mischievous vagrant and nosy meddler. He is a good-natured protector and observer. Range: G2 - Eb4

NARRATOR: (Male, Any Age) An intellectual and pleasant story-teller who helps to orchestrate the show and illustrate lessons to the audience. Range: G2 - E4

RAPUNZEL: (Female, 20-30 yrs old) A loopy-but-lovely maiden who is sheltered by the Witch and terribly lonely. She yearns to experience the world. Range: B3 - A5

RAPUNZEL'S PRINCE: (Male, 30-40 yrs old) Just as vain and gorgeous as his Prince brother, he is always chasing the newest, most exiting endeavor. Range: C#3 - E4

THE BAKER: (Male, 35-45 yrs old) A harried and insecure baker who is simple and loving, yet protective of his family. He wants his wife to be happy and is willing to do anything to ensure her happiness but refuses to let others fight his battles. Range: Ab2 - G4

THE BAKER'S WIFE: (Female, 35-45 yrs old) Determined and bright woman who wishes to be a mother. She leads a simple, yet satisfying life and is very low-maintenance yet proactive in her endeavors. Range: F3 - G5

THE WITCH: (Female, 45-55 yrs old) Sarcastic, ugly-then-gorgeous, obsessive protector of Rapunzel who is straightforward and aggressive. Range: F3 - G5

WOLF: (Male, 30-35 yrs old) Hungry and insatiable hunter who takes advantage of the weak by misleading and captivating his prey. Range: Bb2 - Gb4

All roles are available.

The play is written with all characters, except Scrooge, playing multiple roles including narration. Needing a minimum of 5 men, 5 women, and 4 children (2 boys and 2 girls ranging in age from 8-14). CHILDREN WILL BE SEEN AT A LATER DATE AS NEEDED

FROST/NIXON (SPT tier 7) by Peter Morgan.

1st reh: 2/4/14. Runs 2/20/14 - 3/9/14, Franklin Theatre

All roles are available.

Richard Nixon: Early 60s. Former President of The United States.

Jim Reston: Early 30s. American author and journalist. Researcher for the Frost team.

David Frost: Mid-30s. British journalist, comedian and host of The David Frost Show.

Jack Brennan: Late-30s. A retired US Marine Corps Reserve Officer (Colonel) and a political aide. Nixon's post-resignation chief of staff.

John Birt: Early 30s. BBC's director of news and current affairs. Producer for the Frost team.

Manolo Sanchez: Mid-40s. Nixon's valet of 12 years. Cuban background.

Caroline Cushing: 30s. David Frost's girlfriend. Lives in Monte Carlo.

Bob Zelnick: 40s. American Journalist, executive editor of the Frost/Nixon interviews.

Ensemble Parts: 3 Male Ensemble, 2 Female Ensemble, 1 M/F Ensemble

LES MISERABLES (LOA/LORT) Book by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, Music by Claude-Michel Schonberg, Lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer.

1st reh: 4/28/14. Runs 5/3/14 – 5/4/14, Schermerhorn Symphony Center

All roles and chorus positions are available.

JEAN VALJEAN : Is the hero of the show. He is supposed to be stronger than other men, and so physically should appear robust. He should reasonably carry himself as mature and paternal. Valjean's ability to change is his greatest asset. The key to his character is his great humanity and compassion. Low A to High A

JAVERT: Inspector who serves as antagonist to Jean Valjean. His attitudes are rigid and unmovable. He is stern, forbidding and lacking in compassion. Javert should be an actor who can convincingly stand up to Jean Valjean. Low F to High F sharp

BISHOP OF DIGNE: The Bishop is a good man who saves Valjean with his compassion. Low A to High E

FANTINE: Fantine is the beautiful young girl who, abandoned by her lover, is left to fend for herself and her daughter Cosette. She is rejected by society and forced through circumstances to become a prostitute. G flat (below middle C) to D

YOUNG COSETTE: is the child of Fantine. A (below middle C) to C

MADAME THÉNARDIER: She is coarse and vulgar, unhappy in her existence without knowing why. She is romantic, greedy, stupid, evil and larger than life. She is mean and nasty to Young Cosette and able to improvise in nearly any situation.

G sharp (below middle C) to D

THÉNARDIER: He is the true villain. He is tough, greedy, brutal, stupid and crafty and yet irresistible. He hates society and blames it and everyone else for all his misfortune. Thenardier is also the opportunist and realist of the show. C (below middle C) to G sharp (above middle C)

YOUNG EPONINE: She is the pampered daughter of the Thenardiers. Non-singing

GAVROCHE: Gavroche is Thenardier's son. He is brave and witty. Gavroche has a very dramatic death at the barricade. B (below middle C) to G

EPONINE: She is the daughter of the Thenardiers. Eponine is a tragic character, hopelessly in love with Marius. F sharp (below middle C) to E

ENJOLRAS: He is the student leader. He is handsome, brave and daring, although youthful. He combines his revolutionary ideals with a strong charismatic leadership. He should ooze with charisma, be a natural leader, be good looking, and have a very strong high baritone or a tenor voice. A to G (above middle C)

MARIUS: He is the handsome romantic hero of the story. He is impulsive, passionate, willful and headstrong. His moods change according to his circumstances. He is sweet and tender but also capable of great courage and compassion. Low A to High A flat

COSETTE: She is the beautiful daughter of Fantine. She is strong willed and loving. She is an intelligent, inquiring, personable girl. She falls instantly in love with Marius, changing her world and her priorities.

B flat (below middle C) to High C (2 octaves above middle C)

FOREMAN: The Foreman begins Fantine on her downward spiral of desperation. He should be virile, commanding and a bit sleazy around the edges. D (below middle C) to D

ENSEMBLE: This group is made up of both Male and Females ranging from 20 -55 years old to cover Sailors, Chain Gang, and the ABC Society . This group will include many features
