Breakdown

The Shakespeare on Sunday series is in its second year. The afternoon is an informal chance for actors to play and the community to gather. There's a potluck at 1:00 pm (optional for actors) and the reading starts at 2:00 pm. We make some cuts to keep running time under three hours (after a hard lesson learned with an uncut CYMBELINE!)

Preparation
Please prepare a 1-2 minute Shakespeare monologue in verse. Please bring a picture/resume, or feel free to attach electronic versions with your audition request.

An additional 1-on-1 meeting/rehearsal will be set up between director and each actor between the group rehearsal and the reading, at the actor's convenience.

Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
