Equity actors for:
A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM and THE WINTER’S TALE

All roles open. Actors must move well, be physically fit and have the ability and a felicity to play multiple distinctive characters. Singing, dancing, juggling, stage combat, and/or the ability to play an instrument is a plus, but not a requirement.

PREPARATION

Prepare two brief Shakespearean monologues at least one of which should be comic (total audition time no more than 2 minutes). Bring picture and resume.

PERSONNEL

Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream directed by Wesley Broulik, and Shakespeare’s Winter’s Tale, directed by Elizabeth Carlson-Guerin.



OTHER DATES

Rehearsals begin on Monday, July 3rd, 2017 for Midsummer, and performances of Midsummer are scheduled for July 18th – July 29th. Rehearsals begin on Wednesday, July 19th for Winter’s Tale, and performances for Winter’s Tale are scheduled for August 1st – August 5th.



OTHER

The company is celebrating its seventeenth summer season of free outdoor theater in beautiful Congress Park in downtown Saratoga Springs, NY.

EPA Procedures are in effect for this audition.
