Actors for 2013-2014 Season: Pride and Prejudice, Crazy Horse and Custer (world premiere), It's A Wonderful Life - The Musical, Closer Than Ever (revue), Romeo and Juliet, Visiting Mr. Green, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum

Preparation
Prepare 2 monologues - each lasting 2 minutes or less - one comic, one dramatic; also to be considered for musicals - prepare up to a 1 minute song selection: Bring sheet music in appropriate key, accompanist provided

Pride and Prejudice (Play) - Adapted by Joseph Hanreddy and J.R. Sullivan from the novel by Jan Austen - Roles include Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, Jane Bennet, Elizabeth Bennet, Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley, Caroline Bingley, Mr. Collins, Mr. Wickham, Lady Catherine de Bourgh, William and Charlotte Lucas; ages and style appropriate to original 1813 novel

Crazy Horse and Custer (World Premiere Play) - By Jon George - Roles: Crazy Horse - Lean but fit, mid 30's, dark hair, needs to have an AmerIndian cast to face but may be something else ethnically, solemn and dignified, deliberate and precise, does voice other characters, he carries the weight of the fate of his people, guiding trait is self-awareness, Shakespeare experience preferred (continued next page)

George A. Custer - mid 30's, sized much like Crazy Horse, hair is light, he should have a mustache, opposite of Crazy Horse - loud, flamboyant, full of bluster, has a temper but can display softer side especially when he talks of his wife, hint of sneer when he voices other characters as he really admires no one better than himself, guiding trait is self-pride

It's A Wonderful Life - The Musical (Musical) - Book and Lyrics by Keith Ferguson, Music by Bruce Greer, from the screenplay by Goodrich, Hackett, Capra, and Swerling - Roles include all familiar characters from the movie version: George Bailey (baritenor), Mary Bailey (soprano), Henry Potter (talk singing), Clarence (musical comedy voice), Uncle Billy, Mr. and Mrs. Martini (opera voices), Mother and Pop Bailey, Harry Bailey, Violet Bick, Sam Wainwright, Mr. Gower, Cousin Tilly, Mayor, Bert, Ernie, Mrs. Hatch, etc. All roles are singing roles

Closer Than Ever - Lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., Music by David Shire - Roles include Woman #1, Woman #2, Man #1 and Man #2 - ages can range between late 30's to early 50's

Visiting Mr. Green - By Jeff Baron - Roles include Mr. Green - Actor to portray 86 year old retired Jewish New York dry cleaner, Ross Gardiner - Actor to portray 29 year old gay New York American Express executive
