Breakdown
Preparation instructions:
If auditioning for RING OF FIRE: Prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show. (if auditioning for both productions, prepare a 16 bar selection and be prepared to read from sides)
If auditioning for THE PRICE: Sides will be available at the audition. Actors may arrive early to review the sides before auditioning. Visually impaired actors may request an advance copy of sides when making an audition appointment

Runs Thursdays through Sundays from Septemer 26-October 20, 2013.
Seeking 4 men and one female. Cast members play instruments
TRENNA: Female vocalist, doubling on acoustic guitar
JASON: Male vocalist playing acoustic guitar
DAVE: Male vocalist, plays electric guitar, banjo and fiddle
EDDIE: Male vocalist, playing acoustic and electric guitar
MARK: Male vocalist plays bass (Preferably double bass) and various percussion.
VOCAL RANGES: Vocal ranges taken from first developed production of RING OF FIRE (Five Piece version). As is common in Rock and Roll music - there can be interpretations of a certain line or phrase. Most of the highest notes for male characters can be easlily modified to suit vocal needs. Exception: Role of Jason needs a low D for Daddy Sings Bass.

Years after an angry breakup, Victor and Walter Franz are reunited by the death of their father. As they sort through his possessions in an old brownstone attic, the memories evoked by his belongings stir up old hostilities.
Seeking 3 men and one woman
Victor Franz - A police sergeant, eligible for retirement and approaching his fiftieth birthday.
Esther Franz - Victor's wife, it is suggested that Esther may have a problem with drinking.
Gregory Solomon - A wily Russian-Jewish antiques dealer, nearly ninety years old.
Walter Franz - Victor's brother, a successful doctor Victor hasn't spoken to in years.
