Berenger: 30s – 50s, a slacker, uncouth and apathetic with a rumpled appearance, moved to action in by his neighbors’ complacency
Jean: 30s – 50s, highly cultured and fastidious, arrogant, but not immune to hypocrisy
Daisy: 20s – 30s, Warm hearted but naïve, Berenger’s love interest
Ensemble: remaining roles of Botard, Dudard, The Logician, Papillon, M. and Mme. Boeuf, Café Proprietor, and Townspeople to be cast from an ensemble of 5, multiple ages and ethnicities.

Larry: Sir Lawrence Olivier, 50s, dashing star of stage and screen, a touch arrogant
Joan: actress Joan Plowright, early 30s, Olivier’s latest flame
Vivien: actress Vivien Leigh, late 40s, soon to be the former Mrs. Olivier
