OTTO HEIDT
50S. BERN’S UNCLE, STASI BRASS. MORE INTERESTED IN DOING HIS JOB WELL AND STAYING OUT OF TROUBLE THAN THE POLITICS OF IT. RAISED BERN AFTER HIS FATHER DIED.
MATHILDA HEIDT
50S. BERN’S AUNT. QUIET AND DEVOUT (RAISED WITH RELIGION AND MISSES IT UNDER COMMUNISM) AND SOFTLY SUFFERING AT HOW THIS WORLD IS DEVOID OF FREEDOM.

MID 20S. A PIRATE DEEJAY. HARD EDGED. HER SAFE SPACE IS HIDING BEHIND A SNEER, BUT BENEATH SHE'S A ROMANTIC.

MID 20S. THE ENGINEER FOR THE BRICKS AND AN ESCAPEE FROM PRISON. HE WANTS TO ESCAPE EAST BERLIN AND WANTS VANDA TO COME WITH HIM.
