Minneapolis/St. Paul area actors are encouraged to audition.
Note that we are not casting for specific roles or projects at this time. After we have seen your audition, we will keep your information on file and be in touch if a role opens up that we think you are a fit for.
You will be asked to read one of the sides that we provide. You can find the sides on our website at pwcenter.org/general-auditions. You may choose any side, regardless of character description. If you would like to read any of the plays that the sides come from, please email casting@pwcenter.org.

Please warm up outside. Upon arrival, please enter through the front door on Franklin Ave and check in in the upstairs lobby. Please note that any vocal warm-ups will need to be done outdoors or in a vehicle.

Playwrights' Center 2023-24 Season
Actors for new play development workshops at Playwrights' Center. We encourage actors who have previously worked at PWC to audition this year, as we have a new casting and producing team. Playwrights' Center develops 60-75 new plays each year and seeks actors throughout the year to cast in individual development workshops. After general auditions, we will update our database of actors to be considered as roles come up. Most workshops are between 10-25 hour contracts, and almost all workshops are held on weekdays during the day.
