MEMORI BROOKS: (Pre-cast) 40s, Black woman on the hunt for the piece of her that is missing. She
is a beautician that works with alopecia survivors who have lost their hair due to emotional trauma.
She is a healer, rebuilding hair from the ground up, not just physically but emotionally, spiritually. A
sha-woman, she was born to make women, people, feel special, beautiful, loved. It is her life's work to
restore Black people our crowns. But her own crown is missing. Her name is Memori but she has
none. A generational trauma triggered by her present trauma embedded in her DNA blocks her from
becoming who she is meant to be. There is a perpetual emptiness in her that she can never fill. She
lives in NOW.
