SEEKING
Seeking 7 versatile and diverse performers for the World Premiere of PUMP UP THE VOLUME: A 90s PALOOZA. We are looking for diversity of vocal style and vocal range. We are not looking for impressions of artists, but rather
performers who can embody the style of a song or artist. All characters must be able to hold harmonies and move
well.
PREPARATION
Please prepare 2 contrasting 32 bar song cuts. 90s songs preferred, but we welcome anything that embodies the alternative rock, country, boy-band pop, r&b or hip-hop of the decade. Let us know if you play an instrument. Bring sheet music in the correct key. An accompanist will be provided.

Seven strangers escape from the grind of two-thousand-now into the 1990s and relive the pimpin' pop culture, phat fads and stylin' fashion of the eclectic decade that's all that and a bag of chips. Join them as they grunge, swing, vogue, rave, do the Carlton and rediscover their voice in a world longing to connect on the precipice of a new millennium. Pump Up the Volume! It’s so money!
Man 1: The Breckin
