SPT Cat 6; $450/week

SEEKING

Equity actors for various roles in the upcoming 18-19 Season. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Please prepare two one-minute monologues - one comedic and one dramatic . Please bring headshot and resume with you to the audition.

Performances are generally Wednesday through Saturday at 7:30PM, with 2:00PM shows on Sundays and occasional Saturdays

Character 2: Quilp, M, 50+, Villain. Walks with Limp, and slight hump. Ugly.

Character 3: Single Gent, M, 50+, Loud and asertive. Voice of authority.

Character 4: Brass, M, 50+, Obsequious. Thin. Fawning.

Character 5: Sally Brass, F, 50+, Same as Brass (twin?) but more aggressive. (Double: Mrs Quilp)

Character 6: Showman 1, M, 30/40, Narrative character. Big personality (Doubles: Short and Garland)

Character 7: Showman 3, M, 30/40, Narrative character. Big personality (Doubles: Codlin and Witherden)

Character 8: Nell, F, 14+, Young girl. Dickensian pretty, determined. 16-18 but must play 14.

Character 9: Kit, M, 16/18, Young man. Works for Grandfather. Nells guardian.

Character 10: The Boy, M 16/18, Young man. Works for Quilp. Fiercly loyal.

Character 11: The Marchioness, F, 16/20, Servant, very small, very quiet voice.

Character 12: Swiveller, M 25+, Friend to Fred, A chancer, Poor but has style. Mid to late.

Character 13: Fred, M 25+, Brother to Nell, Aggressive. Mid to late. (Doubles: Boarman, Dead child man)
