BREAKDOWN

BILL, the groom (early 30s to late 30s) – One of those effortless handsome straight guys who’s so used to having everything done for him that he’s lost the ability to do anything for himself.

RACHEL, the bride (mid 20s to late 30s) – A put-together, organized, composed woman who’s used to getting what she wants and she wants a perfect wedding and she’s going to get that perfect wedding come hell or high water.

TOM, the best man (early 30s to late 30s) – A put-together, organized, composed guy who’s well on his way to becoming the eccentric bachelor he’s destined to be.

JUDY, his girlfriend (mid 20s to late 30s) – One of those effortlessly attractive women who’s so used to having people accommodate her desires that she’s grown accustomed to it.

JULIE, a chambermaid (early 20s to late 30s) – A true eccentric whose grasp on reality is shaky enough that the events of this farce don’t feel that far-fetched to her.

DAPHNE, the bride’s mother (mid 40s to late 50s) – Mother of Bridezilla. This wedding is more important to her than it is to anyone else in the play, and she’s going to make sure everybody knows.
