Female, 20s, Latina. Rita – late 20s, Mexicana, sensual, exotic, comforts post-war Male lead and ensemble. Mexican accent required. Open to all vocal ranges.
[FEMALE ENSEMBLE #2/UNDERSTUDY REBECCA MORGAN & JOSIE MESSINA]
Female, 30s, Caucasian. Seeking a versatile actor to play several small roles – a Nurse and a dancer in Mexico among them – in addition to understudying two roles: [REBECCA MORGAN] – Female, Caucasian, a character who ages from 17 to 42. Rebecca is the daughter of Reece and Patricia. Raised a debutante, but is really a free spirit/rebel instead. Artistic and romantic, Rebecca carries an early heartache throughout her life. The heroine of the piece. And [JOSIE MESSINA] – Female, early 20s, Sean’s sweetheart, then wife. Raised in south who falls in love too easily and for all the wrong reasons. Open on vocal range.

Seeking a versatile actor to play several ensemble roles – A mariachi player, an army drill sergeant, and Bubba Earl, a southern good ol' boy who seduces Josie while Sean is at war – as well as understudy male co-lead, [JAKE HIRSCH] Male, Caucasian, dark, sensitive and attractive, a character that ages from 19 to 44. Plain, simple, an Irish immigrant searching for a better life finds a loveless marriage instead, Sean's adoptive mother. Irish accent required. Open to all vocal ranges.
