Seeking Equity musical performers (men/women) for the 2013-14 season musicals. See breakdown
Preparation Please prepare material of your choice (including, if you wish, selections from the season’s repertoire). For those who wish to perform a scene, a reader will be available. Please be prepared to state your starting and stopping places. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
Other Dates Typical rehearsal schedule: Tues– Sun from 10am–6pm or 2pm-10pm until tech begins. Performances: Wed– Sun, with matinee and evening shows,
Other Appts are in 5-minute slots, & each AEA Member has 3 minutes to audition. AEA Members without appointments will be seen as time permits

· A monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

No understudies are being cast. CHARLES MOSESIAN THEATER: CAMELOT Book and Lyrics by Alan Jay Lerner Music by Frederick Loewe Director: Antonio Ocampo-Guzman Production Stage Manager: TBD Music Director and Choreographer: David McGrory and Ilyse Robbins 1st rehearsal: November 5, 2013. Runs November 23- December 22, 2013 (with a possible extension thru December 29, 2013), Wed.–Sun., with matinees and evening shows, (no performances on Thanksgiving) at the Arsenal Center for the Arts in the Charles Mosesian Theater in Watertown, MA, accessible by major routes and the #70 bus. ARTHUR: (Baritone, 25-35) Honorable yet unsure young king. Wise, generous, and compassionate. GUENEVERE: (Mezzo, 18-30) A young, spirited girl, who is caught up in chivalry and the exciting possibilities of a promising life. She loves Arthur but is thrown by the arrival of Lancelot—the start of the famous love triangle. LANCELOT: (Baritone, 25-35) An abundantly self-assured knight from France who is a passionate disciple of Arthur and his Round Table. He is the greatest knight in the world, whose only weakness is his love for Guenevere. MORDRED: (Tenor, 18-25) An evil young man who was sired by Arthur when the king was young. PELLINORE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 50-70) A stuffily, eccentric, funny old knight with rheumatism who is very much dedicated to Arthur. MERLYN: (Ensemble Choral singing, 45-60) The famous wizard who teaches Arthur almost everything he needs to know. He disappears after he loses his powers early on in the show. MORGAN LE FAY: (Ensemble Choral singing, late 20’s-40) Aunt to Mordred. A beautiful and powerful sorceress whose only weakness is candy. TOM OF WARWICK: (Ensemble Choral singing, late teens) A young boy, a round-table hopeful, who longs to fight for justice. NIMUE: (Mezzo, Off-stage voice) A nymph who lures Merlyn away with hauntingly beautiful singing. SIR DINADAN: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) A knight who serves Arthur. Devoted to Guenevere and doesn’t care much for Lancelot. SIR GUILLIAM: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) Newly knighted, serves Arthur. SIR COLGREVANCE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) Newly knighted, serves Arthur. SIR CASTER: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) Newly knighted, serves Arthur. SIR SAGRAMORE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) One of Guenevere’s knights. SIR LIONEL: (Ensemble Choral singing, 25-35) A knight who dies and comes back to life after Lancelot defeats him in a joust. LADY ANNE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 18-30) One of Guenevere’s ladies-in-waiting. LADY CATHERINE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 18-30) One of Guenevere’s ladies-in-waiting. HERALD: (Ensemble Choral singing, 18-40) Serves Arthur. PAGE: (Ensemble Choral singing, 18-30) Serves Arthur.
