Breakdown

All rehearsals and performances are in Norwalk, CT - one hour on Metro North from Grand Central station. NYC actors commute daily and travel is paid by the theatre.

THE SANTALAND DIARIES is a one-man show by David Sedaris and adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello. The show features CRUMPET, and out of work slacker who becomes a Macy's elf during the height of the holiday season.

Seeking:

CRUMPET:
strong comedic character actor, 30 - 45, sardonic, bright, cynical but with an element of heart and charisma

VANYA AND SONYA AND MASHA AND SPIKE

rehearses 2/16/16 - 2/25/16, runs 2/26 - 3/13.

Seeking:

VANYA: 50'S, living in Bucks County, resigned to his life, more or less, at least compared to Sonia

SONIA: his adopted sister, early 50's, living with him in Bucks County, discontent, upset, regretful

MASHA: his sister, 50's, glamorous and successful actress who goes gallivanting around the world

SPIKE: an aspiring actor, 29 or younger, sexy, self-absorbed, Masha's new companion

NINA: lovely, sincere would-be actress, early 20's, visiting her aunt and uncle next door, star struck and energetic

CASSANDRA: cleaning lady and soothsayer, any age, any race. Mystical, a little over-the-top
