SEEKING
Singers/Actors/Musicians for the upcoming production of MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET. Not all roles require singing, see breakdown for details.
PREPARATION
Prepare one song from the show of your choosing, and accompany yourself if required by the role you choose. If interested in Sam Phillips, prepare a one minute monologue. Bring your book in case the team needs to hear more. Songs to choose from can be found at MarriottTheatre.com/Auditions/MDQ

Callback auditions will take place on July 20th (the following day) in Buffalo Grove. An amp will be provided for guitars. Piano (and accompanist if needed) will be provided.

JERRY LEE LEWIS Rock ‘n’ Roll’s legendary piano prodigy and celebrated Last Standing Man (must play piano). Gender: Male; Age: mid 20’s Vocal Range: D4 – C6
SAM PHILLIPS The Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll and founder of Sun Records; discovered Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and many others, including Roy Orbison, and B.B. King. A towering and charismatic figure in American music. Does NOT need to sing or play an instrument (audition with a 1 min monologue, bring a second). Gender: Male; Age: 33
CARL PERKINS Lead guitar player, the first poet of Rock ‘n’ Roll (must play guitar). Gender: Male; Age: 24 Vocal Range: D3 – C6
JOHNNY CASH Guitar Player, a giant of American music at that dawn of his epic career. Gender: Male; Age: 24 Vocal Range: D3 – G#5
DYANNE An aspiring singer, Elvis’s girlfriend. Does not need to play an instrument. Gender: Female; Age: mid 20’s Vocal Range: A3 – D5
ELVIS PRESLEY Guitar, the first and still undisputed King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Gender: Male; Age: 21 Vocal Range: A3 – C6
