Seeking
WaterTower Theatre is seeking 8 actors for its upcoming production of Manicures & Monuments.

Preparation
Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Male actors should also come prepared with a 1-minute contemporary monologue. Director will ask for this, if needed. Audition appointment, headshot and resume are required.

Breakdown

Audition appointment, headshot and resume are required. Equity and Non-Equity roles are available. Scripts are available for perusal at WTT Box Office (open Tues-Fri 12-6) and S.T.A.G.E. These roles are local hire only. No housing or travel can be provided.

Sammy Mazola – Male. Late thirties, with a mental age of 8-10 years old.
Luther – Male. Fifties. African American, autistic.
Camille Dugan – Female. Sixties or older. A sweet and sensitive southern lady.
Lucinda Bailey – Female. Sixties or older. A no nonsense, retired Army nurse finding it difficult being “the patient.”
Sara – Female. Sixties or older. Sara suffers from Alzheimer’s and is known as “Sara the Terror.”
Smitty – Female. Mid thirties. A health care professional who works at the nursing home. Sharp and sassy.
Mr. Swanson – Male. Sixties or older. A man of few words with a gentle spirit.
Janann Vanschuyver – (pronounced VAN-SKYVER) Female. Opens at 17, ages to early twenties. A small town manicurist-in-training who serves the residents of the nursing home. Janann is naive about the world outside of her small town.
