Equity actor/singers for various roles and ensemble.
All roles require strong actor/singers
Preparation
Prepare a song from or in the style of the show.
Bring sheet music; accompanist provided.
Bring picture and resume.

First rehearsal: August 23rd; First performance: September 7th; Close: October 2nd, 2016.

Cervantes/Don Quixote: (CAST)
Manservant/Sancho:
tenor, 30s-50s, strong actor, comic, lovable, described as “A Fat little Bag Stuffed with Proverbs”
The Governor/Innkeeper:
bass/baritone, 40s-60s, strong, authoritative yet amiable,
The Duke/Dr. Carrasco:
baritone, 30s-50s, arch, calculating, intelligent, aristocratic, Don Quixote’s adversary, strong actor
The Padre:
tenor, 30s-60s, gentle, kind, intuitive, sensitive
Ensemble
(smaller roles to double in ensemble include Pedro & The Barber): 20s-40s, strong actor/singer/dancers, stage combat , acrobatics , and ability to play guitar a plus
FEMALES:
Aldonza:
strong belt/soprano mix, late 20s-early 40s, sexy, tough but vulnerable
Housekeeper/Innkeeper’s wife:
30s-50s, strong character actress, mezzo-soprano
Antonia/Moorish Dancer:
20s-early 30s, soprano, good dancer
