PREPARATION
Please come warmed up and ready to sing a SHORT pop/rock song that shows range and musicality. Please bring a picture and resume stapled together. A piano accompanist will be provided.

BREAKDOWN
MIKE. Male, 18-30, any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. University of Tampa football player who discovers a passion for erotic dancing (aka stripping). Charismatic, impulsive, a bit of a maverick, with innate and undeniable dancing skills. MUST be a phenomenal dancer. Must be an excellent pop/rock tenor. PRINCIPAL.
JESSIE. Female, 18-30, Latina, African-American, Asian-American, Native American or Middle Eastern. Mike’s girlfriend. An art student at University of Tampa who dreams of moving to New York to follow her passion. Intuitive, intelligent, passionate, free-spirited, and funny. Must have a very strong high belt. PRINCIPAL.
DALLAS. Male, 40s-50s, any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. The owner of Club Xclusive, Tampa’s premiere male strip club. He’s the PT Barnum of male-stripping. Exuberant, Wonka-like, he knows how to work the crowd and demands perfection from his employees. Must have an excellent baritenor voice with a great falsetto. PRINCIPAL.
DENNIS. Male, 18-25, any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. Mike’s best friend—University of Tampa football player. Caring, easy-going, more of a team player than Mike, but harbors his own secret. Must have an excellent baritenor pop/rock voice and be a strong dancer. PRINCIPAL.
MIKE SR. Male, 50s-60s, any ethnicity. Mike’s father. Overworked single parent running a struggling business. Loves his son and wants the best for him. PRINCIPAL.
TARZAN. Male, 20s-40s, any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. A stripper at Club Xclusive who does a Tarzan act. Gruff, intense, wild, takes his act very seriously. Must have an excellent baritenor pop/rock voice and be an excellent dancer. PRINCIPAL.
TITO. Male, 20s-40s, African American or Latino. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. A stripper at Club Xclusive. Sexy bad boy with a soft spot. Must have an excellent bari-tenor pop/rock voice and be an excellent dancer. PRINCIPAL.
KEN. Male, 20s-40s, any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. A stripper at Club Xclusive. Highly trained actor whose onstage persona is the “Ken Doll.” Must have an excellent tenorpop/rock voice and be an excellent dancer. PRINCIPAL.
RICHIE. Male. 20s-40s. Any ethnicity. In EXCELLENT Physical Shape. A stripper at Club Xclusvie. Extremely well-endowed and not shy about it. Must have an excellent baritone pop/rock voice and be an excellent dancer. PRINCIPAL.
