SEEKING

Equity actors for a few roles in LOVE LETTERS and THE 39 STEPS. Ethnic Minorities are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Connecticut and Westchester talent a plus.

PREPARATION

Please prepare one 2-minute contemporary. Bring picture and resume.

Music Theatre of Connecticut, currently in its 29th season, is located in a newly constructed theatre center in Norwalk, CT. The company has won numerous Best awards and Connecticut Crtitics' Circle Award Nominations, including the prestigious Killen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Professional Theatre, joining Long Wharf, Hartford Stage and the Westport Playhouse.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.

Andrew Makepeace Ladd III - 40's/50's, affluent Connecticut type. Strong actor.

Melissa Gardner - 40's/50's, also affluent but more of a free spirit, Andrew's best friend since childhood. Strong leading lady.

Annabella Schmidt/Pamela/Margaret: 40's, attractive 1930's character woman

Clown 1 and Clown 2: strong character actors who plays multiple roles
