Exceptional Male and Female Equity actors/singer/dancers. Non-Caucasian performers are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. We are especially interested in seeing Connecticut and Westchester talent at this call.

Preparation
Please prepare one song that reflect the general Broadway style of the show. You may not get to sing both, or you may be asked to sing 32 bars, depending on the time restrictions.

Other Dates
Rehearses April 7 - April 16, and runs April 17 - May 10. All rehearsals and performances are in Norwalk, CT - one hour on Metro North from Grand Central station. NYC actors commute daily and travel is paid by the theatre.

LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS - BREAKDOWN

Seymour Krelborn:
A menial laborer at Mushnik’s Flower Shop, 30’s, bari-tenor, nebbish-like and insecure naïve, sweet/well-meaning, improbable hero of the story

Audrey:
25 – 30, belter, gum-snapping, bleached-blond secret love of Seymour’s life, lacking in education and self-esteem, she suffers from feelings of hopelessness at her situation in life

Mr. Mushnik:
45 – 55, baritone, owner of Mushnik’s Flower Shop, a failing business on Skid Row, a man who seldom smiles and often yells

Orin Scrivello:
Audrey’s dentist boyfriend, 30s/40s, baritone, motorcycle-riding black leather jacket-wearing tough-guy, tall, dark, handsome, and sadistic. Also doubles Patrick Martin, Radio Announcer, Bernstein, Narrator

Audrey II:
Voice of the wise-cracking anthropomorphic cross between a Venus flytrap and an avocado with teeth, Audrey II is Seymour’s favorite and soon-famous plant. Barry White sound

Crystal, Chiffon, Ronette
