BREAKDOWN

GEORGIANA AND KITTY: CHRISTMAS AT PEMBERLEY, by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon

Synopsis: The final chapter of the beloved Christmas at Pemberley trilogy. This engaging and uplifting holiday story profiles the love of a family and the perseverance of women in the ever-popular world of Jane Austen.

ROLES CAST:

Fitzwilliam Darcy - proud but finding his warmth, does not forgive easily, perhaps slightly over-protective of his little sister.

Elizabeth Darcy - loves all of her sisters but loves Georgiana like a combo of sister and mom, and brings Georgiana out in a way that Darcy tends to shut her down.

Thomas O'Brien - Henry’s friend, a little bawdy and a little jolly, says exactly what's on his mind, does not have much time for polite society but is so good natured that everyone kind of loves him.

SEEKING:

GEORGIANA DARCY: 20s-30s. Extraordinarily shy, an accomplished pianist, romantic but super hesitant after her experience with Wickham. She is an introvert but lives a full life in the letters she writes and the music she plays. Very like her brother in some ways, she can be stubborn and a bit of a grudge holder.

KITTY BENNET: 20s-30s. A ray of sunshine, the perfect best friend and wing man, she is supportive, optimistic and a problem solver. Without the influence of Lydia, she is more grounded and generous. She is the mastermind behind Georgiana’s future.

LYDIA WICKHAM: 20s-30s. A little “extra” but has gained some wisdom. Now that she is suddenly without a husband, she is looking for a companion again, only to find Kitty unavailable. She is trouble when she has too much unstructured time on her hands. Also SARAH DARCY: Lizzy and Darcy’s daughter. She is serious like her father and exuberant like her mother, friendly and opinionated.

JANE BINGLEY: 20s-30s. Eldest and most reserved sister of the Bennets. Married to Bingley and very pregnant with her first child. Kind, generous, soft spoken. Also EMILY GREY: Henry Grey’s daughter. Sweet, earnest, deeply devoted to her father and self-possessed.

MARY BENNET: 20s-30s. Middle sister, brainy and extremely recently engaged to Arthur de Bourgh. Also MARGARET O’BRIEN: Kitty and Thomas’s daughter. Bubbly, busy, and incredibly empathetic just like her father, a thoughtful caretaker like her mother.

HENRY GREY: 20s-30s. Georgiana’s beau – also remarkably shy and an introvert, but of incredible sincerity and intellect. Henry is unassuming, possibly to a fault, and is unaware that he is the hero of the story.

THE COURTROOM: A REENACTMENT OF ONE WOMAN'S DEPORTATION PROCEEDINGS

Transcripts arranged by Arian Moayad

Synopsis: An exploration and examination of the U.S. immigration system and those at its mercy. This unique show has garnered great critical attention in recent years, performed as a mock-trial and in real courtrooms to blur the lines of reality & theater to tell this impactful story.

SEEKING:

ELIZABETH KEATHLEY (female-identifying): Immigrant from the Philippines, married to John Keathley.

Characteristics for the following roles (including gender, age, race, and ability) need not necessarily match those of their real-life counterparts.

JOHN KEATHLEY: Married to Elizabeth Keathley.
