Rehearsals: February 4, 2020 – March 12, 2020
Performances: March 13, 2020 – March 29, 2020, Friday and Saturday @ 8:00 and Saturday and Sunday @ 3:00
Rehearsal Locations: Rehearsals will be held at Shotgun Studios in Berkeley and The Buriel Clay Theatre in San Francisco.

Rehearsal Times: Prior to tech week rehearsals are Tuesday through Friday evenings and Saturday afternoons.

Callbacks will be held on October 23, 2019 from 6:00PM - 8:00PM

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

Esther: Female, 30-40

To play 35, plain looking woman, intelligent, but not educated. She is a skilled seamstress and can make her own way, but dreams of marriage. A strong and unshakable spirit; a fighter.

Mrs. Dickson: Female, 45-55

Refined, married well, widowed, has an air of wealth, well-spoken, motherly, lonely, forced by her mother to be more than her mother was.

Mrs. Van Van Buren: Female, 30-38

Wealthy, married, trapped, seeking love and longing for affection, tortured and disillusioned.

Mr. Marks: Male, 30-40

Romanian Jewish immigrant, seller of textiles, torn between a strong religious devotion and the changing world.

Plays the piano, singer, sultry/sexy and knows how to use it. She has a good heart but can lose her way. Seeking actor/singer/musician actual piano playing a plus.
