It’s Christmas Eve in Palm Springs when Brooke Wyeth unleashes a most unwelcome gift on her family: the galleys of a tell-all confessional novel painting her Reagan-adjacent parents in a less-than-flattering light.

Brooke Wyeth: 30s. A writer. Daughter of Polly and Lyman.
Polly Wyeth: 50s. Elegant and forthright. Brooke and Trip’s mother; Lyman’s wife.
Lyman Wyeth: 50s. A longtime Californian. Polly’s husband; father to Brooke & Trip
Silda Grauman: 50s. Brooke and Trip’s aunt; Polly’s sister. A struggling alcoholic.
Trip Wyeth: 20s. A television host. Brooke’s younger brother.




Carrie a comedy by Erik Jackson based on the novel by Stephen King

Poor Carrie. At home she's abused by her religious fanatic mother. At school, she's the butt of every joke. Her nasty classmates, including the beautiful but brutal Christine Hargensen, think they have the upper hand until Carrie unleashes her telekinetic powers at the prom.

Those wacky characters from Tuna, Texas have once again entered the heated Yuletide lawn display contest. Socialite Vera Carp hopes to win another consecutive victory, but she faces stiff competition from the crusty proprietor of Didi’s Used Weapons and from a pair of cowboy-loving Tastee Creme waitresses.

Two actors (m/f): Both roles are CAST. Actors can be either gender. Characters’ age range: 30s - 50s. Actors play multiple characters in a small Texas town (e. g. Sheriff, housewife, child, teenager, socialite, Tastee Creme waitresses, Humane Society worker, radio DJs, etc).

Join Scrooge, Marley, the Cratchits and a host of Christmas ghosts for this holiday favorite and a Hippodrome tradition.

Bob Cratchit: 30–40. Hardworking employee of Ebenezer Scrooge. Devoted father and husband.

Mrs. Cratchit: 30 - 40. Devoted wife and mother. Married to Bob Cratchit.

Spirit of Christmas Past: 30 - 60. The first ghostly visitor to Ebenezer Scrooge. Gentle but spirited.

Spirit of Christmas Present: 30 - 60. Scrooge’s second ghostly visitor. Jolly but forceful.

The roles of Scrooge and Marley are cast.




Venus in Fur by David Ives
Director: TBA. 1st rehearsal: Dec. 26 Run: Jan. 11-Feb. 3

Thomas, a beleaguered playwright-director, is desperate to find an actress to play Vanda, the female lead in his adaptation of the classic sadomasochistic tale, VENUS IN FUR. Into his empty audition room walks a vulgar and equally desperate actress—oddly enough, named Vanda. Though utterly wrong for the sophisticated part, Vanda exhibits a strange command of the material, piquing Thomas' interest with her seductive talents and secretive manner.

Thomas: 30s. A director and playwright.
Vanda: 20s-30s. An actress.




King o’ the Moon by Tom Dudzick

In this hilarious, heartfelt sequel to Over the Tavern, the Pazinski family has left the conservative 1950s for the rebellious 1960s. As Apollo 11 is about to land on the moon, the family gathers to honor their late father's memory, and they quickly become entangled in each others' problems -- Rudy is re-thinking the priesthood, Eddie is preparing for fatherhood and Vietnam, and Annie is contemplating divorce as their mother Ellen considers a new romance.

Ellen Pazinski: 50s. The widowed matriarch of the Pazinski family.

Rudy Pazinski: 22. Studying for the priesthood. Objects the Vietnam War.

Georgie Pazinski: 23 (mental age of 5). Mostly communicates with grunts and gestures.

Eddie Pazinski: 25. A soldier. Supports the Vietnam War.

Annie Pazinski: 26. On the verge of divorce.

Maureen Blake Pazinski: 25. Recently married to Eddie. Pregnant.

Walter Fronzak: 50s. Runs the tavern below the Pazinski’s house. Ellen’s love interest.

Enter Sherwood Forest with Robin Hood, the legendary hero! Wielding a bow and arrow, Robin and his merry men join forces to stand up for what’s right. This athletic take on the fabled story features trickery, disguises, swordfights, live music and plenty of help from the audience.

6 ensemble actors to play multiple roles. Can be cast with 5 men and 1 woman or 3 men and 3 women. All should appear 20s-30s. Highly physical production. Stage combat experience is preferred.
