No appointments. Open Call. EMC and Non Union will be seen after all AEA members in attendance are seen.

CONTRACT

SPT $443.00/week Housing is available for out of town actors.

SEEKING

Equity actor/singers for this first show in the 2020 Season. See breakdown.

PREPARATION

Please prepare one song from the show, or in the style of. We will have the score but having your own sheet music prepared and ready to go is encouraged.

If you cannot attend, please email casting@theeagletheatre.com to submit electronically. Videos will be accepted for those who cannot make it.

PERSONNEL

HAIR: Book/Lyrics by Gerome Ragni and James Rado. Music by Galt MacDermot. Directed by Ted Wioncek III. Assistant Director Caitlin Geisser. Casting Director: Ed Corsi, Choreographer/Music Director: TBA.
In attendance at auditions: Ed Corsi (Casting Director), Ted Wioncek III (Artistic Director/Director), Jason Neri (Music Director).

OTHER DATES

We rehearse for 3 weeks prior to opening. 6 nights per week, Monday through Friday and Sunday afternoons. Off every Saturday. Rehearsals are typically 6pm-10:30pm during the week, 2-10pm on Sundays. Times subject to change. OPENING: 2/7/20, CLOSING: 3/1/20. FIRST REHEARSAL: 1/19/20

OTHER

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of audition.

BREAKDOWN

Claude (Rock Baritone/Tenor): The most beautiful beast in the forest. Smart, attractive male, with a playful side; a lover of life and the picture of a young man next door of the 60's. Strong actor. This role is CAST

George Berger (Rock Tenor): A social activist recently banished from high school. An unrestrained animal. High energy, athletic, wild.

Sheila (Rock Alto/Belter): A passionate protester who lives with Berger and Claude, aspires to spread love, loves Berger but having Claude's baby.

Jeanie (Alto): A follower, not a leader. Incredibly sweet, Wise, passionate, creative woman, who is pregnant with the tribe's baby. She has taken every drug, and takes care of the tribe. Strong actress to play comedic and dramatic scenes.

Crissy (Mezzo): a flower child mourning a lost love - The youngest female of the tribe. This role is CAST

Dionne (Alto/Mezzo Belt, African-American): Sassy and lots of fun. Strong comedic actor.

Hud (Soul/Rock Baritone/Tenor, African-American): Speaks his mind. This role is CAST

Woof (Rock Baritone/Tenor): A young animal. High energy, versatile performer: This role is CAST

Tourist/Margaret Mead; Male performer, in drag, sings “My Conviction”
