Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together, even if you have sent one.

Prepare a brief comic monologue.

Breakdown

The following 5 parts will be considered for 3 principal AEA contracts:

Andy Gorski
Male, 33 (ish) years old. Oldest son of Phil and Emily Gorski. He has left his hometown of Pittsburg (and his staunch Catholic upbringing) for a better life in New York. He is back in Pittsburg to visit for Christmas and to introduce his fiancé to the family.

Randi Stein
Female, 30 (ish). Andy’s Fiancé. She is Jewish but a practicing atheist. An aspiring actress. Very pleasant and is obviously in love with Andy.

Mickey Gorski
Male, 30 (ish) year old who is severely retarded. Capable of a few words but most of his communication comes from cheerful grunts, noises and finger pointing. 2nd son of Phil and Emily and the only other sibling.

Phil Gorski
Male, Late 50s, early 60s. Curmudgeon. Constantly complaining. Looks like he may have been a good athlete at one time but now walks with a slight limp and employs the use of a cane. Lower middle class.

Emily Gorski
Female, Late 50s or early 60s. Family matriarch. Simple minded yet loving. Always there to smooth over any family disagreements. And always the peacemaker.
