Breakdown

GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK CHRISTMAS MUSICAL

There are 3 AEA contracts to be cast among the following available roles:

Darlene Seward:
Late 20’s to late 30’s. Hates everybody and everything all the time and is a year round Scrooge. Underneath the hard shell is a wounded girl.

Rufus Jeter:
Late 20’s to late 30’s. Redneck with a heart of gold. Makes “art” out of found objects. Can down a six pack as fast as the next guy. Well liked in the Trailer Park.

Jackson “Jackie” Bordeaux:
40 to 50 something. Self made man and an all-American success story. Money is money no matter whose pockets it comes from. Always plays to win and tends to be possessive. Larger than life. Slick.

Betty:
38 to 50 something. Part hard ass, part mother hen. Busybody. She is the leasing manager of the Trailer Park. Grounded, earthy and dry witted.

Linoleum:
30’s to early 40’s. Known as “Lin” and tends to be fiery. Rumored to have spent time on several Rock and Roll tour buses with famed (and not so famed) rockers in the 1980’s.

Donna:
Late teens to early 20’s. Nicknamed “Pickles” when she became afflicted with a hysterical pregnancy that turned out to be a real pregnancy where the baby is born with an entirely different complexion than her husband’s. She is now single. Mostly airy and wide-eyed.
