Told with a sense of humor and great songs, the family favorite is updated for an environmentally aware generation. A family of Bears live happily in their cabin in the Woods. Mr. Locks, a lumberjack, brings his pre-teen daughter Goldi to work with him one day. He’s cutting trees down so that the government can build a road through the forest. Goldi wanders off, and finds the Bear’s cottage. She tries their bowls of porridge, sits in all the chairs, and falls asleep in Baby Bear’s bed. When the bears return home, everyone is frightened -- until they realize that just because they’re different, they shouldn’t be afraid of each other. Instead, they team up to prevent the road from cutting through the Bear’s home.
