SEEKING
Cardinal Stage Company is seeking local and non-local actors for our upcoming production of Fun Home, written by Jeanine Tersori and Lisa Kron, based on the graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. Fun Home will close out Cardinal's 2017-2018 Season. See breakdown for details.
PREPARATION
Please prepare a contemporary musical theater ballad. An accompanist will be provided. Please bring a hard copy of your headshot and resume.

BREAKDOWN
Helen - (Female identified, early 40's, soprano) Alison's mother, the glue that holds the family together. An artist at heart, she is a long-suffering wife who is confused and distressed by her husband's behavior. She loves her children and wants them to have a different kind of life than she's had. Seeking a leading lady with a great voice and strong acting.
