Jay Gatsby – male – 25-30 – a romantic idealist with a disarming smile.
Daisy Buchanan – female – 25-30 – Southern, with a voice that sounds like money.
Nick Carraway – male – 25-30 – Midwestern, with a kind face and gentle manner.
Tom Buchanan – male – 25-30 – Daisy’s husband, with a powerful, cruel body.
Jordan Baker – female – 25 – 30 - Daisy’s friend, with an athletic, almost masculine body.
Myrtle Wilson and Ensemble – female – 35-45 – Tom’s girlfriend, New York, fleshy and sensual. Non-traditional casting.
George Wilson and Ensemble – male – 35 – 45 – Myrtle’s husband, New York, spiritless and anemic. Non-traditional casting
