Please prepare one song that reflects the style of the show. Be prepared to dance.

Rehearsals: 10/6 - 10/15/15. Runs: 10/16 - 11/1
All rehearsals and performances are in Norwalk, CT - one hour on Metro North from Grand Central station. NYC actors commute daily and travel is paid by the theatre.

Breakdown

Seeking:

Exceptional Male and Female Equity actors/singer/dancers. Ethnic Minorities are STRONGLY encouraged to attend. Connecticut and Westchester talent a plus.

EVITA:
Extremely strong singer/actress who must play ages 18 to 33. Tough, extremely charismatic, beautiful, ambitious and power-seeking; rises to become the spiritual leader of Argentina by the age of 26. She is also a woman of few options, who uses her sexuality to build power. Vocally must possess a strong mix that can belt to a high G and sing to a low E (below middle C).

CHE:
Strong Actor/Singer, 30-40, a political activist and the narrator of the show, a radical who isn’t reluctant to ask tough questions and demand answers. Dashing, impulsive, jealous, and manipulative. Must move very well with a high, rock tenor voice that can sing a low A to high B, falsetto to high F.

PERON:
Strong Actor/Singer, 30-50, an officer in the Argentinean army who rises to become the Argentine President. Dignified, charming, ambitious, and authoritative. Bass/baritone to high F

ALL THE FOLLOWING ARE TRIPLE THREAT ROLES AND PLAYING AN INSTRUMENT IS A PLUS:

ACTOR 1: Plays multiple roles including Tango Singer MAGALDI, General, Aristocrat, Worker. PLAYING GUITAR A BIG PLUS.

ACTOR 2: Plays multiple roles including Evita's brother, jilted lover, General, Aristocrat, Worker.

ACTOR 3: Plays multiple roles including jilted lover, General, Aristocrat, Worker.

ACTRESS 1: Plays multiple roles including Peron's MISTRESS, Aristocrat, Evita's sister, descamisado and others.

ACTRESS 2: Plays multiple roles including, Aristocrat, descamisado and others.

ACTRESS 3: Plays multiple roles including Evita's sister, Aristocrat, descamisado and others.
