Equity actors for the first two productions in the 2018 Season:

LITTLE WOMEN THE MUSICAL (running January/February 2018)
and
MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS (running March/April 2018)


PREPARATION

For Little Women, Please prepare at least one 16 bar cut, from the show or in the style of. We have the Score. For Moonlight, sides will be provided. You will have ample time to review them upon arrival. Bring picture and resume

OTHER DATES

Rehearses for 3 and a half weeks prior to opening. 6 nights per week, Monday through Friday and Sunday afternoons. Off every Saturday. Rehearsals are typically 6pm-10:45pm during the week, 3-10pm on Sundays. Times subject to change.

LITTLE WOMEN

Jo March:
Passionate, adventurous, and brave. Female, must play 18-23. Vocal: E3 to A5

Professor Bhaer:
German professor who exemplifies proper manners. Eventually falls in love with Joe. G2 to F#4

Amy March:
The youngest, most energetic sister with a pompous air about her. Must play 14-18. Marries Laurie. -1 to Gb5

Meg March:
The world weary, yet hopeful oldest March sister who yearns for a great life. Must play 21-25. Marrie John and has twins. A#3 to Gb5

Beth March:
The second youngest sister who tragically dies of Scarlet Fever. Peacemaker, lover. Must play 17-21. A3 to G5

Marmee March:
Mother, backbone of family. 45-55. Vocal Top range: Eb5

Mr. Laurence:
Male 30-50

Laurie Laurence:
Bright eyed, boy next door. Loves Jo, but later falls in love with Amy. Play 18-23, Vocal: Bb2 - Bb4

Aunt March:
Over bearing matron and great aunt to the March Sisters. Wealthy Socialite.

Mr. John Brooke:
Laurie's tutor and a rather stiff man. Later marries Meg and changes. Play 30-40. C#3-F#4

MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS

David O' Selznick
(25-45): Obsessive, driven, and just a little nuts. Nothing will stand in his way to make this one great film.

Ben Hecht
(35-55): Quick witted, articulate newspaper man turned script doctor. Sardonic but principled, he stands against everything that GONE WITH THE WIND represents.

Victor Fleming
(40-60): Role CAST

Ms. Poppenghul
(20-40): Selznick's secretary. In this version, she will be a throwback to the Noir genre. Smart, with a little va va voom presence.
