Seeking
WaterTower Theatre is seeking 11 actors for the upcoming musical Dogfight.

These roles are local hire only. No housing or travel can be provided.

Preparation
Actors should come prepared with a song in the style of the show. Music from the show is acceptable. Actors might be asked for a second audition song. Audition appointment, headshot and resume are required. Scripts are available for perusal at WTT Box Office (open Tues-Fri 12-6).

Breakdown

Eddie Birdlace – 18-25. U.S. Marine, Private First Class, a natural leader, initially a cocky smooth talker, but sheds his brash exterior when he meets Rose. From Buffalo, New York. Range: A2-A4

Rose Fenny – 18-21. A diner waitress, a dreamer. Naturally shy, naïve of the world around her. Range: G3-E5

Bernstein – U.S. Marine, Private First Class, a bit nerdy and inexperienced with the opposite sex. From Cleveland, Ohio. Range: B2-B4

Boland – U.S. Marine, Private First Class, Birdlace’s closest friend. The most crude in his behavior and language. A poor Southern cad. Range: B2-B4

Marcy – 25-35. A nearly toothless and homely prostitute. Brash and crass. Also plays other ensemble roles. Range: F#3-Eb5

Fector – U.S. Marine, Private, not too bright. Also plays other ensemble roles.

Stevens – U.S. Marine, Private First Class, cocky. Also plays other ensemble roles.

Gibbs – U.S. Marine, Private First Class, Midwestern. Also plays other ensemble roles.

Mama – Rose’s mother. Protective of her daughter. Also plays other ensemble roles.

Ruth Two Bears – Stone-faced. Also plays other ensemble roles.

Lounge Singer – Greasy club singer. Also plays other ensemble roles.
