SEEKING

Equity actors for roles in Chenango River Theatre's 2024 Season (See breakdown).

BIPOC actors are encouraged to audition. If you have auditioned or worked for CRT in the past, you are encouraged to audition again, as we have a new Artistic Director.

PREPARATION

For PICASSO or BOEING: Please prepare a contemporary comedic monologue (90- seconds or less), or monologues will also be available at the audition. For RUTHLESS!: Please prepare a contemporary comedic song that really shows your comedic chops. If you would like to perform something from the show, song cuttings are available on our website, along with recorded accompaniment at:
https://chenangorivertheatre.org/audition- /> dates/. For MACBETH: Please prepare a dramatic Shakespeare monologue (less than 90-seconds). If you desire, you can prepare 2 contrasting Shakespeare pieces less than 3 minutes total (two are preferred but not required). Also, please bring your headshot and resume stapled together. If you are unable to attend this audition, you may submit a video submission. Please see Breakdown for details.

Rehearsals and performances will take place in Greene, NY (near Binghamton, about 3.5 hours from NYC) at Chenango River Theatre, 991 State Highway 12, Greene NY 13778.

An Equity Monitor will not be provided. The producer will run all aspects of this audition.
