TREVOR BARLOW: In his mid-30s. White-American, male identifying. A talker. A prisoner with a plan.
ADELE: In her 50s, female identifying. Any Ethnicity. Intelligent, saucy, and a fabulist. Passionate, with a sense of humor. In charge as much as anyone is. Career woman, wife, mother.
MILLER: In his 50s. White-American, male identifying. Practical and a realist. Loving and witty. Plays guitar. The husband, the father.
ZACH: In his 50s. White-American, male identifying. Optimistic, eager, funny and in love. Sings. The lover, the doctor. Partial Nudity.
VIRGIL: Mid-40s to 60s. Any ethnicity or gender. Powerful, and compelling. Empathetic and caring funeral home director. Exploring the journey of life, respecting the transformation of death.
STACY: Mid-30s female identifying. Any ethnicity. Moves well, does push-ups and dances. Should appear in perfect physical condition. Dangerous and loving. The Artificially Intelligent care giver.
AISLIN: 60s-70s female identifying. Any ethnicity. Cranky, sassy, and afraid. A woman needing care and not wanting it.
DYLAN MARKS: In her late 30s, female identifying, any ethnicity. A private investigator with a background in aviation engineering, no family, efficient and contained. Quick, sharp, and longing. Sings. Good mover.
RYKER NIELSEN: In his 40s, male identifying, any ethnicity. CEO of RedSky Space Co., owner of the Jedi rocket, also CEO of EarthAir airplanes which run on batteries. Sings. Moves. Straddles the crazy/genius line, a dad and ex-husband. Short fuse and socially awkward.
JIM JEFFERSON: In his 50s, male identifying, any ethnicity. CEO of Solis Space Inc., owner of the Iris rocket, also CEO of Front Desk an online home concierge service, dad-like, seems unexciting, getting buff, no family. Abrupt. Sings and moves.
LAYLA NIELSEN: In her 40s, female identifying, any ethnicity. Ryker's ex, mother of their kids, she writes pulpy, sexy sci-fi fantasy novels. Must sing – rock and roll aesthetic. Moves. Doubles as Corrine.
BARB CZAJKOWSKI (Check-house-ski): In her 40s-60s, female identifying, any ethnicity. Narrates the Cassini space craft video, alone in a recording booth. Compelling, narrator’s voice. Understands the sense of loss, nuances. Doubles as DR. RHONDA SPELLMAN: A geobiologist, speleologist, astrophysicist, wears a spelunking suit, goggles, and a helmet with headlamp, a vivacious hippie type. Sings. Moves.
TANNER NIELSEN: In his 30s, male identifying, any ethnicity. Ryker's brother, a physics expert at RedSky. Loves his brother. Is angry with his brother. Sings and moves. Doubles as Male Voice.
PIZZA GUY/WALT: In his mid-30s, male identifying, any ethnicity. Delivers pizza, formerly in a metal band, a good guy and underachiever. Sings and should have a nice voice. Electric guitar player or at least good air guitar. Doubles as Rick.
SANDY: In her late 20s, female identifying, any ethnicity. An eclipse chaser and RedSky groupie, high energy with deep frustrations, has three kids, longing for totality. Sings and moves. Doubles as Kid On Walki-Talki.
